尾州ウールとは、
愛知県尾張西部、岐阜県の美濃地域（愛知県一宮市、稲沢市、津島市、江南市、名古屋市、岐阜県羽島市etc)で生産された毛織物。
そのクオリティの高さから、世界的に有名なイタリアのビエラ、イギリスのハダースフィールドにならび、世界三大生地産地と称されるほど。
自然の偉大な恵み、
明治時代から広まった尾州の毛織物は、
木曽川、長良川、揖斐川からなる木曽三川の水源が糸、織物の染色の仕上げに適した水であり、
尾張地区の蒸し暑さが糸、織り物に適している高湿度であることで、質の高さと生産が発展したとされています。
生地の特徴、
低速スピードでゆっくりと織り上げることで手織りに近い仕上がりを実現し
ふっくらとしなやかなウール生地は、世界のハイブランドにも採用されています。
